Young Living Essential Oils
&
Nutritional Supplements

Essential Oils are Antibacterial, Antifungal, Antiviral, Antiparasitic, and Antiseptic.

Essential Oils stimulate your immune system, increase oxygen flow and provide a delivery system for getting nutrients directly to cells.

Essential Oils support mental, emotional and physical health and wellness.

Essential Oils carry high frequencies of energy that stimulate vibrant living and personal wellbeing.

Essential Oils can be applied directly to the skin, Diffused into the air we breath and taken internally as a supplement.

What Makes Essential Oils Therapeutic-Grade

Essential oils come from various parts of plants: the seeds, bark, leaves, stems, roots, flowers, and fruit. The oils can be distilled from the plant material or extracted. The majority of essential oils are distilled.

The key to producing a therapeutic-grade essential oil is to preserve as many of the delicate aromatic compounds within the essential oil as possible, compounds that are fragile and destroyed by high temperature and high pressure. These compounds are also destroyed by environmental toxins such as chemically reactive metals (i.e. copper and aluminum).

To insure a high grade of essential oil, it is imperative to use stainless steel cooking equipment at low pressure and low temperature for long periods of time.

Its chemical constituents also determine the purity of an essential oil. There are many variables that can affect these constituents. These can include: Soil Conditions, Quality of Fertilizer  (organic or chemical), Geographical Region, Climate, Altitude, Harvest Season, Harvest Methods, Distillation Process and the part or parts of the plant used for distillation.

One plant can produce several different chemotypes (biochemical variations). The chemotypes vary according to climate, altitude and growing conditions. For example, the later thyme is distilled in the growing season, the more thymol the oil will contain. If it is distilled in the early summer, thymol levels will be very low; hence, the oil will be less effective, if at all.

Natural essential oils contain hundreds of different chemical compounds, many of which have not been identified. This natural synergy brings important therapeutic properties to the oil. Although chemists have managed to recreate some of the constituents and fragrances of oils, there are many molecules and isomers that are impossible to manufacture in the laboratory. Simply, there are no substitutes for the purest essential oils.

Combining Young Living Essential Oils
With
Supplements and Super Foods

Essential oils are supplements on their own by nature of their nutrient and oxygen content and antioxidant qualities.

Due to the oxygen content and the oil soluble nature of the oil it absorbs transdermally, into your cells. A high-grade essential oil has the ability to pass through body tissue and the blood brain barrier. The oils can carry with them other high-grade nutrients that are combined with the essential oil. For this reason oils added to Super Foods and supplements increase the bioavailability of the food.

For example, one would have to eat pounds of carrots and blue berries and raspberries to get the same amount of antioxidants into their blood stream, as taking one ounce of NingXia Red Juice. The lemon and orange oil added to the juices add antioxidants and increase your bodies ability to absorb the antioxidants and nutrients in the juice.

Why Use Nutritional Supplements and Super Foods

Simply; because you and your body need them.

So if food supplements are food can’t we just get them from our food?

Theoretically yes, practically no.

  1. Normal modern farming practices strip food of its nutrients.
  2. The more processed a food is the more the nutrients have been degraded in the food.
  3. Even if a food is grown organically, the farther a food has to travel the more it uses up it’s own nutrients, ripening, disconnected from the plant.
  4. The longer it has been since the animal has been slaughtered the more the nutrients in the meat degrade.
  5. Toxins in the environment degrade the nutrients in the food and increase your demand for nutrients to cleanse you of these toxins.
  6. The FDA standards for nutrients are a minimum; your body can handle having extra high-powered nutrients more easily than not having enough. Especially when they come from a guaranteed pure and organic source and are in a synergistic package your body can recognize as food.
